  • About The Role ANZ’s Data Delivery provides delivery capability for the bank in the area of enterprise data warehousing and analytics. This enables customer insights, trends and metrics, supporting wider bank initiatives and enhancing customer service. Our data platforms cover a broad range of functions and products – Teradata, IIH, DataStage and more. These primarily run in UNIX/Linux environments. As Senior Developer, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Focus on the design and delivery of data solutions that will be used across the organisation
  • Be a part of the end to end development process, from understanding business requirements to surfacing data in secure and efficient ways
  • Contribute to the design and modelling capability within the team to build solutions that makes it easier for the business to find and use data
  • Use and contribute to modern CI/CD practices within a data warehousing function
  • Implement continuous improvement, and a culture of empowerment

  • Role Location:  Wellington Role Type:  Permanent About You To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years data warehousing & ETL experience across a broad technology stack
  • Proven experience in database platforms e.g. Teradata, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with API’s, containerisation, automation and CI/CD is highly advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, from gathering requirements to producing well documented solutions that are easy to interpret
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to consult and influence stakeholders
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies is preferred
  • The ability to provide thought leadership to influence and develop
  • Proven problem-solving ability and the ability to work individually as well as within a team environment
