Large, established New Zealand brand is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong leadership skills

Your new company

A leading New Zealand grown brand, with a sizeable IT team is seeking a contract DevOps Engineer, based in Central Wellington. This is initially a 5-month contract, with our client looking for someone who could join immediately.

Your new role

This is a high-level role that requires someone to hit the ground running. You’ll need to use your strong leadership skills to take control of your role and accept responsibility for the overall DevOps function.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Familiarity with Opensource Development technologies
• Jenkins, Git and Openshift
• Automated testing technologies
• PaaS and IaC solutions
• Good Linux experience
• Ability to oversee the DevOps practice
• CI/CD pipelines
