Permanent Role, Wellington Based

  • A hit the ground running role
  • Provide critical executive level support to the Deputy Chief Executive
  • Work in a fast paced and dynamic environment that has room for fun

Are you a highly skilled juggler, multi tasker and people person who has a strategic view while being happily immersed in high level detail? Are you ready to grow your advisory skills?

 About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive Assistant who understands what it’s like working in a busy, dynamic and complex environment. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, Organisational Assurance and Communication, you’ll provide a full range of executive support services where your days will be varied, fast paced and fun.

You will need to be a self-managing professional with a natural ability for juggling multiple deadlines, across multiple work programmes while at the same time thinking strategically and keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

Your primary focus will be to provide daily organising and time management, organise internal and external stakeholder meetings and prepare documentation for the Deputy Chief Executive. Whether you’re arranging travel or booking and attending stakeholder meetings, you’ll do it all with your natural flair and unflappable manner.

If you love being the important link, the glue and go-between for pretty much everything, then you will need to demonstrate your exceptional relationship management and communication skills as well as attention to detail. Your integrity, resilience and high standards are essential in this role.

To succeed in this role, you will have no doubt have worked with senior leaders, be proficient across the suite of Microsoft products and not be afraid to try new ways of working. Having an innate ability to anticipate your boss’s needs will also help – you are vital for her to do her job and in turn she’ll work with you to achieve your aspirations.  You will have a unique opportunity to learn about the business from a pro as well as getting first-hand experience working alongside each group. This role also has the opportunity to flex your advisory muscles – if you are ready to expand your skills in this space this is a great role for you!
