The team

The IdAM and PKI team monitors, manages and continually improves a secure, reliable platform which enables NZDF to manage digital identities and enforce access rights. PKI provides digital certificate management including issuance, distribution, storage and revocation enabling encryption, digital signature identification and other capabilities.

The role 

As a Senior Engineer, your responsibilities include:

• Working closely with architects and designers to develop new products and services;
• Using your expertise to resolve incidents and problems;
• Mentoring your product team to drive improved engineering practices;
• Contributing to the growth of technical capability through active participation in communities of practice.

Technical skills

Knowledge of or exposure to a combination of the following:

• Identity and access management technologies and platforms;
• Azure active directory (essential);
• Active directory (essential);
• SAP identity management experience;
• Cryptographic experience e.g. HSM;
• Enterprise PKI;
• Knowledge of inter-operability standards in the domestic and international defence context.

Additional skills

Experience in, or knowledge of:

• IT change management;
• Capacity planning;
• Configuration management;
• SAFe Agile;
• IT Security.
