Work closely with the Group Leader in a consultant capacity and in line with Golder’s Global Professional Level Guidelines to continuously promote and improve the services the group provides. Golder Associates services a broad range of global and local clients.

Golder has a new opportunity for a Senior Environmental Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis based in Auckland .

**Key duties and responsibilities include:**

+ Provision of expert advice in areas of specialty, namely water quality, stormwater and other water-related services

+ Preparation of technical and management reports and plans, including the analysis and interpretation of technical data

+ Provision of advice and technical services including environmental impact assessment and management related to water quality, stormwater and other areas of expertise

+ Undertake research assignments as directed, including field work where required

+ Provide technical and review support and assistance to consultants, other staff and our project partners and stakeholders where required

+ Work with the Group Leader to implement, and at times lead local, regional and national initiatives when required, including project-related and business development initiatives

+ Recommend improvements to the business to enhance productivity

+ Ensure the effective management of projects in accordance with agreed procedures to meet client requirements

+ Liaise with clients as directed/required

+ Market services and those of the Group and the wider company to clients

**Skills, Qualifications, and Experience**

+ Qualified with a bachelor’s degree with several years of industry experience.

+ Ability to liaise with a diverse group of people across disciplines.

+ Working in a dynamic environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
