Role Description:

You will oversee and manage a wide range of repairs, typically at residential or commercial locations. These tasks will include trade skills, repair work and maintenance work. The role is quite varied and most of our client’s jobs require a broad range of skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reading job sheets, travelling to job sites and evaluate the job
  • Manage time, materials, tools and helpers to complete the job
  • Painting, plasterboard, carpentry/framing work and glazier work
  • Yard and garden maintenance, locksmith work
  • Roofing, flooring and plumbing
  • Concreting, brick and block work
  • This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities:

  • Expired or valid trade qualification(s)
  • Must have a clean and valid New Zealand drivers license
  • Extremely hard working and reliable
  • Be a problem-solver with initiative
  • Ability to manage a team and mentor junior staff
  • Clear communication skills
  • New Zealand Resident or Citizen
