The Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) Group exists to radically improve road safety, workplace health and safety and the environmental performance of the New Zealand land transport system.
The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
Reporting to the General Manager, Safety, Health and Environment, as our Senior Manager Programme Delivery you will be responsible for ensuring our group priorities, deliverables and programmes are embedded into well organised and methodical delivery mindsets that drive value across the Agency. The role will be very interactive with groups within the SH&E team and across the wider agencies, identifying opportunities to enhance outcomes. The expectation is to develop and maintain a clear set of processes, tools and guidance that reflects best practice and will enable the role to drive enduring benefit to the way in which the SH&E group deliver to promise.
In this role you will utilise your leadership and strong influencing skillset as you develop, manage and sustain relationships and liaise with a large number of stakeholders to deliver outcomes with the team.
We are a diverse team so it is essential that you are a people-centric person with sound interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong rapport and positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Your experience in leading a team and influencing and negotiating with senior and executive level stakeholders is essential. You will need to bring a focus on collaboration, customer focus and well-honed curiosity to the Agency.
