The Senior Manager will work as a member of a team of tax professionals providing services to meet a range of client requirements. Day to day you will:Prepare and undertake client tax calculations that are accurate and comply with all legal requirements.Apply an understanding of legislation, the interpretation of case law (e.g. relevance of obiter dicta and precedence of High Court decisions) and be up to date with the status of IRD rulings.Produce well researched and analysed tax opinions.Planning, controlling and meeting deadlines and profitability targetsClient care and relationship building, as well as new business development.Leading, coaching and developing junior team membersWhat you will bring to our team:Relevant qualifications (e.g. Chartered Accountant or hold a Law Degree)Excellent communication skillsStrong organisational/time management skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsA self starter with a high level of personal effectivenessExcellent team skills, and leadership experienceExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsProfessional approach to work and strong client focusWith current border and quarantine restrictions in place, KPMG New Zealand are unable to consider applications from candidates that do not currently have the right to live and work in New Zealand. To be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, you should be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa.
