The Ministry for Primary Industries has a great opportunity for an exceptional Senior Media Adviser, with a talent for risk identification and a knowledge of the modern media environment, Government and the public sector. This role reports to the Media Manager, and is responsible for delivering media management to build and enhance MPI’s reputation. Alongside the rest of the team, the Senior Media Adviser will develop and implement media strategies for working with, and build enduring relationships with the media and stakeholders.
Mōu – About You:
We are looking for a communications professional who is proactive, politically savvy and attuned to issues, risks and opportunities. You will already have a wide range of media relationships and will be able to develop new internal and external relationships quickly. As this is a fast-paced role, you must have the ability to calmly manage multiple changing priorities and thrive under pressure. You will have both a strategic focus and an eye for detail.
