As Senior Adviser, Farmer Support (National) you will assist the Farmer Support team to develop the systems, frameworks and processes that support the delivery of welfare services to affected farmers (individuals, families/whānau, and communities). 

 

This is a pivotal role for the programme, we are looking for someone who has some or all of the following skills and experience:

 

  • Develop, monitor and update systems, frameworks and processes for the delivery of welfare support services. 
  • Monitor and report on the welfare status of farms, including trends and issues, monitoring of services, and national reporting of services. 
  • Have an understanding or worked with a trauma informed approach.
  • Have experience in an adverse event either in a response or a recovery environment.
  • Stakeholder and relationship development and management at both a national and regional level
  • The ability to work independently.

 

This role will require some weekend on call shifts and national travel. This could fluctuate from 1-10 days per month, and may include some overnight travel.
