About the role: 
The Senior Network Design Engineer Voice will act as a key contributor for the Infrastructure and Services (I&S) team, providing voice engineering solutions and support for MSD Corporate Solutions. The voice solution will provide flexible, highly available, and multitenant Contact Centre, Unified communications and Telephony platforms for the support of MSD and other customers. 

 

An overview of your responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed voice network standards and documentation including diagrams and work instructions, monitoring, change procedures, performance and capacity planning instrumentation.
  • Interpret designs provided by the Architects and create detailed configurations and templates to implement highly available mission-critical corporate network infrastructure.
  • Develop detailed voice network project and test plans, independently execute voice network project plans and select the most effective solutions.
  • Act as level 3/4 support for voice services operations and intermediate engineers.
  • Specify detailed BOMs, creatively coordinate and implement complex voice and contact centre network changes within allotted windows to maintain SLAs for high availability.
  • Effectively participate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


What you will bring:

  • Experience designing medium to large size enterprise networks
  • Cisco CCNP/CCDP/CCIE certification or relevant level experience
  • Expert in all Contact Centre, Unified Communications and Telephony platforms
  • Solid experience in making recommendations for procedures, technical standards and guidelines
  • Experience providing technical solution to the clients, in accordance with an agreed architectural standard
  • Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor voice services issues in the core voice network systems, and work with multiple teams to identify bottlenecks and other network configuration issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with customers and colleagues at all levels.
