Do you want to make your mark on the New Zealand Intelligence Community (NZIC) by contributing to initiatives that help to make it a great place to work and enable the business to achieve its mission?

The People and Capability team in the Intelligence Community Shared Services (ICSS) is looking for a Senior Organisational Development Advisor to join its Strategy and Capability team.

This role and will report directly to the Manager, Strategy and Capability.

As the senior OD Advisor you will have be delivering across a diverse range of areas such as diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, organisational change, talent management and workforce planning.

You will be involved in framework development and design as well as creating policy and procedures that will enable the initiatives that you work on. This role will be focused on enabling the business to reach its core goals.

This role will provide a huge variety of day to day work and you will be joining the team at a time when there are lots of exciting projects and initiatives to get involved in.  You will be working closely with other teams in People and Capability as well as with managers and teams across the NZIC and external agencies and providers.

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience in a broadly focussed organisational development role
  • Experience contributing to organisational change initiatives
  • Design and delivery experience across organisational development programmes
  • Knowledge of best practice organisation development methodologies
  • Excellent relationship management and advisory skills
  • Project Management experience

ICSS delivers a high-performing corporate services platform for both the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) and the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS). We provide strategic leadership in the provision of corporate support to enable the GCSB and NZSIS to deliver on their missions.

Salary from $90,366 – $135,548 per annum

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold NZ Permanent Residence or hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.

You must be able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken. Where requisite checks are unable to be made, the candidate application may not be able to be progressed.
