About The Role
As Senior Portfolio Analyst, you would have the opportunity to:
Report to the Senior Retail Models Manager NZ
Support development and management of Retail predictive models
Provide analytic support to development of portfolio lending strategies
Be the key point of contact between Global Modelling team, Group Validation and the business units
Project manage requirements for analytical solutions – models and supporting infrastructure
Use your attention to detail and time management to make sure projects and timelines are met
Demonstrate the ANZ values and contribute to a customer-centric culture, fostering collaboration across teams and business units

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
An understanding of a how retail products work and knowledge of lending practices
Experience in credit scoring and Portfolio/project management
Some exposure with data aggregation and analysis tools (SAS, SPSS, R)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Banking and project management experience is advantageous
Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem solving skills
Proven ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships
