Whitireia Community Polytechnic (Whitireia) and Wellington Institute of Technology (WelTec) provide professional, vocational education primarily within the Wellington region where students learn the skills they need to build careers and successful lives. We work collaboratively with employers and community groups to ensure our training is relevant, offering foundation courses through to Masters degrees in a wide range of subjects.
We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our small team providing support across Whitireia and WelTec. You will be responsible for the full procurement lifecycle in significant supply categories, from stakeholder engagement and planning through to contract award and management. You will also provide advice, information and support to colleagues outside the Procurement Team who manage lower value or risk procurement activities and contracts.
This role will suit a procurement professional looking for the next step or someone with relevant experience looking to move into procurement, as there will be plenty of opportunity and support to develop your skills and experience.
