Senior Project Manager

The Office of the Auditor-General | Te Mana Arotake(the Office) is focused on significantly enhancing its influence and impact on the public sector to deliver better results for Aotearoa New Zealand. The Information Services Group (ISG) is looking for a Senior Project Manager to deliver modern ICT solutions to better enable the work of the office.

You will be responsible for leading, managing, and delivering business projects and programmes in line with the Information System Strategic plan. With the help of a small team, you will project manage key work programmes and individual initiatives to meet business requirements and improve the ISG service delivery model.

The role will work closely with several internal stakeholders, including governance groups and project sponsors, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

To be successful:

  • a relevant qualification in PRINCE2, PMI, and/or Agile is essential;
  • you will have extensive experience in work programme development and management;
  • you will have extensive experience in project management and business change management; and
  • lean experience and a tertiary qualification is an advantage.
