Senior project manager, with a focus on trauma – fixed-term or secondment two years (0.7 FTE – 1 FTE).
The Health Quality & Safety Commission are seeking a fixed-term role for a Senior Project Manager, with a focus on trauma and the ability to over time also possibility focus on other one-off cross-commission project activity.
The National Trauma Network (the Network) is funded by the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and is responsible for establishing a contemporary trauma system in New Zealand with the aim to save lives, reduce the severity of injuries, and support an efficient health system. The Network is led by a Clinical Lead and Programme Manager and they collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including District Health Boards, ambulance services, the transport sector, and researchers. Reporting directly to the Manager Business Systems and CFO, the successful person will have an ability to successfully lead and manage projects at a national and senior level, including multiple tasks and priorities and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships through consultation and partnership.
The Commission has a strong focus on Maori health advancement and reducing inequity, and the successful candidate will contribute to these goals.
