The Role

The purpose of this role is to lead the strategic and operational management of the Transport Agency’s property acquisition programmes across Wellington and the lower North Island for future transport system solutions.  The programmes comprise a range of existing & upcoming projects, which feature a variety of interesting property related challenges that will need to be solved.


What you will bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a senior property role
  • Strong programme management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage a significant delivery programme
  • Demonstrated contract management experience
  • A good understanding of the Public Works Act 1981 and related Crown policy
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Proven experience in leading, influencing and building credibility across a range of stakeholders
