Due to internal staff movement the End User Services team are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to work collaboratively with the broader Digital Services team and customers to ensure that the RBNZ’s IT services are operating securely and safely. The role will contribute to the design and implementation of new services and you’ll be expected to define, manage and test disaster recovery plans for solutions relevant to your team.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Proven experience in a Systems Engineer role or similar, managing and maintaining end user services
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and experience in Windows and server infrastructure
• A passion for training and mentoring others
• Strong communication skills
• A practical, analytical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting
• The ability to prioritise your workload and take responsibility for outcomes

We are looking for people with advanced skills in a range of technologies such as: 

• Microsoft’s Office 365 suite and Windows 10
• Active Directory and Group Policy
• ITIL frameworks and the ability to resolve issues in alignment with ITIL processes
