To help us achieve this we are looking for a Senior Technical Advisor with a good understanding of current and emerging network technology to own the Toitū Te Whenua – LINZ network.This role will see you working as a senior technical member of the Enterprise Platforms Team in IS&D Operations. As the owner of the network, you are responsible for leading the successful oversight, operation and continuous improvement of our site LANs, the WAN, our Internet breakouts, our proxies and the remote access solutions used by staff. You will work closely with our network and datacentre vendors, our public cloud platform owners and key application owners and stakeholders to ensure our network is high performing and fit for purpose as we move forward on our cloud journey. To be successful you should have Proven analytical and commercial experience with MPLS networks and current firewall, proxy and VPN technologiesRelevant and current network qualifications and certificationsProven experience of network architecting, design, costing and documentationExcellent relationship building and vendor management skillsSolid experience with AWS and Azure cloud networking technologies This is a unique opportunity to work in a small close-knit team and on an ambitious programme to make a genuine difference across LINZ.
