Ko tā mātou mahi – Our role

As a Senior Tenancy Manager you will be a subject matter expert, responsible for supporting, coaching and mentoring a team of Tenancy Managers. Our Tenancy Managers are doing incredible work that provides people with good quality, affordable housing choices that meet a range of diverse needs.

Your people skills and experience will allow you to lead by example, ensuring that Tenancy Managers build meaningful and lasting relationships with the tenants in their portfolio and supporting them to deal with a wide range of challenging situations.

Senior Tenancy Managers are also involved in reporting, escalating issues and managing tenants with high and complex needs, coupled with pragmatic decision-making.

  • You’ll be adept at forming collaborative relationships with professional colleagues, whānau and individuals
  • An enjoyment of problem-solving and making sense of complex, sometimes contradictory, information to reach effective outcomes is essential
  • You’ll demonstrate cultural competence, with an holistic approach to supporting and empowering whānau aspirations.
  • As this role necessitates travelling across the Central Auckland region, you will have a full and clean NZ driver’s license (vehicle provided)
