What you will do?
The Service Broker will be a key collaborator to the regional Leadership team and will engage at various levels across the organisation and with external partners. Being an innovative thinker, you will be driven to improve our services and work automatously to connect people to help our kids be set up to succeed.
We are seeking a dynamic individual who has exceptional relationship management and problem-solving skills for a newly created role. As a Service Broker you will be a key go to person in identifying and facilitating customised support for tamariki, rangatahi and whānau that need alternative options. This role will liaise and partner with internal and external parties such as; Site Managers, Social Workers, Ministries of Health and Education, NGO’s and Gateway teams. Travelling for this role is key as you will need to engage within the community from within the Bay of Plenty region and associated DHBs.
What you will bring?
• Experience at a senior level as a Supervisor/Advisor either in the health, education or social service sector
• Be a known as a superstar when it comes to working with people
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of, and commitment to, our treaty and legislative requirements to Māori, especially tamariki Māori
• Be tech savvy to connect into regular distance meetings
• Have a sound knowledge and appreciation of issues and priorities facing tamariki, rangatahi and whanau
