We are looking for a self-starter with initiative, who has experience leading a team Career development and opportunities throughout New Zealand Following an internal move, our Christchurch Branch is looking for a Service Foreman to work with the latest construction equipment in the field, and develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience further within the heavy diesel industry.As Health and Safety is a priority for us at TransDiesel you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.As the NZ dealer for Volvo, Yanmar, Allison, Perkins, Kohler and other, you will work with leading edge products within our industry. This role covers a variety of functions including mechanic and apprentice mentoring, liaising between our customers, other office Service staff and the equipment sales division on specific PDI requirements. The successful applicant needs to be a self-starter, who is able to operate autonomously as well as within a great team. To achieve success in this role, the incumbent will need top notch organisational skills and the ability to juggle numerous balls at once.Displaying a high level of initiative and problem solving skills, you will have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles. You will also have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical information across different business units and levels of the company. Along with your technical know-how, you will be a competent computer user, preferably in MS Office.Key to your responsibilities will be supporting our customers to maximise their success and managing your team of technicians to achieve this.
