About the role

We’re seeking an experienced sales manager to lead and inspire our field sales team across the Otago region. You’ll be responsible for driving market share across your region, through your team of technical sales experts in agriculture, horticulture, fuel and nutrition products. 

Key account management will be required as we continue to grow in the Horticulture and Viticulture markets and knowledge and experience in these industries would be advantageous. You will be tasked with maintaining and growing our supplier and vendor relationships, whilst developing a strategic focus around brand strategy.

You’ll lead and develop a high performing, highly engaged team to deliver the annual sales plan and deliver exceptional levels of service and technical expertise to our shareholders on-farm. We are driving for an adaptive, performance led culture and this role will be critical in executing this with the sales team.

About you

Above all, you will be an exceptional leader. A demonstrated history in developing and leading high performing sales teams is a must, as is the ability to think both strategically, tactically and innovatively and embracing and utilising technology. You’ll have strong business acumen, an eye for identifying and consolidating new business opportunities and managing key accounts. environment. You can be based anywhere within the Otago or Central Otago region.
