The National Command and Coordination Centre (NCCC) is seeking a positive and highly motivated individual to join our team based in Police National Headquarters.

 

The NCCC is an integral component of the National Prevention Centre. The NCCC informs the Police Executive team, National Managers and other key decision makers on risk, trends and significant operations across New Zealand.

 

It also plays an integral role in supporting districts to achieve Our Business and supports them during major operations. The NCCC is home to the Media Centre, National Intelligence Centre staff and staff from external partner agencies.

 

This is a shift work position to provide 24/7 coverage.

 

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience in a range of computer applications that are commonly used by Police e.g. Word/Excel, NIA, RIOD. CARD knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Demonstrates effective and influential written and oral communication skills to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrates an ability to develop effective and working relationships within a team, and external stakeholders.
