(We welcome your support with this important work in protecting our children)

Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children is committed to putting children and young people at the heart of everything we do and say. Adoption is a means of providing children with security, whilst meeting their developmental needs by legally transferring on-going parental responsibilities from their birthparents to their adoptive parents, recognising that in doing so; we have created a new kinship network that forever links those two families together through the child. Adoptions work could involve both local and international adoptions.
As a social work supervisor, you will have primary responsibility for the adoptions team ensuring excellence in service delivery. You will also facilitate training, and provide advice and support across the adoptions spectrum.
