Social Worker – Oranga Tamariki – Nelson Site
At Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children, our goal is to establish a multiagency approach to protecting and caring for New Zealand’s tamariki and rangatahi.

If you practice the same values as we do, we would like to hear from you! We are currently seeking for 2 Social Workers (permanent and fixed term opportunity) to join our passionate and supportive team based at our Nelson Site.
A big part of your role focuses on establishing a positive partnership with other agencies and the community to identify the best outcomes for all stakeholders. You will display effective communication skills both written and oral through listening and participating in plans to support our tamariki and rangatahi to ensure their voices are heard.
You will also utilise the latest strength-based practice tools and assessment framework in order to make positive changes to the lives of our young people and their whānau.
