The Subscription & Billing domain is made up of three pillars: Revenue: for invoicing and payments Experience: for subscription management, tailored to external subscribers and the internal customer support team. Growth: for entering new markets, with localised experiences and expanding existing markets with diversified products.The three pillars deliver business outcomes via strong customer relationships. Alongside the exciting work above, the Subscription & Billing domain are working on a multi-year programme to replace the current billing system with a more modern and scalable solution to better serve our expanding customer base and allow for more flexible and sophisticated billing scenarios. The team uses the latest stack (.NET Core, Microservices, Containers, AWS). What’s the role? As the Solution Architect in S&B, you’ll contribute to the long term technical vision of Xero and assist our teams to bring that vision to life. Your guidance will give teams clarity of direction, and confidence to deliver high-quality products. You’ll bridge between worlds – building and maintaining relationships with product stakeholders, engineering teams, operations and leadership, enabling the business to optimise for global scale. You’ll improve the cohesion of Xero’s systems – people, technologies and processes. Through sound architecture practices, you’ll balance long-term evolvability and scalability with current needs. You’ll help to integrate the pieces into a #beautiful whole, orchestrating our internal systems and third party software solutions to deliver great customer outcomes.
