What you will do
Based in the main store you will conduct physical inventory and checks for SAP plant in support of the regiment and other units based in the Northern Region.
What we need
We are seeking a person who has some good hands on practical warehousing experience. You will be familiar with inwards and outwards inventory movements, storage and the processes behind it. Having good problem solving skills you can easily identify anomalies, report on them and then action them.
You will coordinate and conduct regular physical inventory checks and liaise with the purchasing officer over material requirements. A good level of computer literacy is needed in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience in SAP would be a definite advantage. Some heavy lifting of up to 25kgs may be required.
A class 1 licence is needed, even better if you have a forklift/OHS forklift licence.
