Your new companyGoing through rapid growth nationally and internationally, our client’s first focus is to leverage their technical solutions to fit customer requirements, providing precise solution-application match. Taking pride in their leading-edge technology, they specialise in wireless solutions (including Point to Point and Point to Multipoint applications). Their award-winning technology is rapidly taking market share in the UK, USA, and APAC regions, targeting utilities, telecommunications, public safety and government services. Due to a shift in responsibilities, they now require two Support Engineers to join their team.Your new role You will be the point of contact for all post-sales systems and product support issues, queries and requests (service desk, technical support, diagnostic….) You will install and commission equipment according to the project brief, acceptance test plan and schedule You will contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical product training material and documentation You will facilitate, coordinate and deliver customer and internal technical product training You are process oriented and will have good logging abilities, writing detailed notes and procedures You are overall the main point of contact for the clients, supporting pre and post-sales activities, providing technical input to the sales process. What you’ll need to succeed Previous experience in wireless/mobile communications systems environment. Previous experience in a wireless/communications product support role, preferable with IP networking configuration Technical Support / troubleshooting experience Excellent communication (written and verbal) and customer relationship skills Strong work ethic / attitude Ability to travel internationally to customers/partners/other offices Preferably a degree in Electronics, Radio Systems or Communications Engineering Ideally you are CCNA/CCNP certified. You are in Christchurch with valid work rights in New Zealand.
