We are looking for a Support Officer to join our busy and high performing Operations Group for six months. The Support Officer will support the Manager, General Inspectorate and a team of inspectors, enabling and ensuring their effectiveness.

Our Operations Group are undergoing huge growth with a number of important initiatives underway to increase WorkSafe’s effectiveness and ability to deliver real change to New Zealanders. This means you can expect busy, diverse and interesting days in the office. You’ll be comfortable with change and willing to be flexible in your approach to work.

As the Support Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Pro-actively identifying opportunities to improve the administrative systems, tools and processes
  • Collating information and assisting with the development of reports
  • Providing administrative support such as arranging travel, coordinating meetings and catering, processing of invoices and secretariat support

Because of our change initiatives, we are initially looking to fill this position for six months. The role may possibly extend beyond this, depending on the timeframes for the change programme.
