The Support Services Officer (SSO) is responsible for providing first level support to customers regarding usage and advice of AoG Services Delivery products and services. You’ll be working over a number of workstreams providing coordination and administration support services across the AoG Services Delivery Group.Working at the Department of Internal Affairs, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders. The All-of-Government Services Delivery Group sits within Digital Public Service branch and brings together the functions that deliver services to or for the public sector, enabling service delivery synergies to be optimised.The Group is responsible for standardising and consolidating agency ICT infrastructure and services and working with the vendor market to deliver modern digital procurement models for digital and ICT. It also provides critical government services including the NZ Gazette and the Domain Name System and operates a portfolio of all-of-government websites. To be successful in this role you’ll need: excellent verbal and written communication skills experience taking meeting minutes excellent interpersonal skills high proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and outlook programs effective planning, prioritisation and coordination skills to meet deadlines be able to multitask to work across multiple teams and products have financial administration experience raising purchase orders and goods receipting contribute towards the continuous improvements of processes to improve efficiency and quality.Understanding or experience working with ICT services or digital products would be an advantage.
