Healthcare NZ Rehabilitation and Community is part of Healthcare NZ limited and provides services to people with disabilities all across New Zealand; our aim being to maximise someone’s independence and quality of life.This vacancy is for home based care in the Manawatu Region where we are recruiting for – 1 part-time position week 1 alternative Thursday 4pm-10pm; week 2 alternative Tuesday 4pm-10.30pm, alternative Saturday 8am-4pm; alternative Sunday 4pm-10.30pm. urgent to start asap; also required is one casual position. This work is for rostered shifts 24/7 care including sleepovers. What does a Support Worker do?Our support workers assist people who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their community. Support workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 cover with responsibilities including providing assistance with personal care, community outings and other aspects of daily living – enabling our clients to be as independent as possible. What’s in it for you?We are committed to our employees and are proud to employ and train the best people in all areas of our organisation.
