NZCare Disability is part of Healthcare NZ limited and provides services to people with disabilities all across New Zealand; our aim being to maximise independence and quality of life.This vacancy is for our community services on the North Shore supporting children and youth with disabilities. With short shifts across Monday to Sunday, we have an opening for a permanent part time support worker to join the team – however the ability to be flexible to work after school hours, evenings and weekends is important in this role.What does a Support Worker do?Our support workers assist people who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their community. Support workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters with responsibilities including providing assistance with personal care, community outings and other aspects of daily living – enabling our clients to be as independent as possible. You might be supporting your client with their fitness goals in the gym, or assisting them to plan and prepare a meal for the family – you will be somebody who really thrives off helping others.What’s in it for you?We are committed to our employees and are proud to employ and train the best people in all areas of our organisation.
