Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
MPI’s Economic Data and Analysis team collects, maintains, and analyses data on agricultural production and trade to understand what the changing world means for the future of our primary industries. We believe that effective decision-making requires access to the best information available. We are partnering and enabling New Zealand primary sector exporters, informing sector and government decision-making, and enabling conversations between producers, retailers, and distributors.
We need smart, curious, and enthusiastic team members who are able to challenge conventional thinking and use their planning and administration skills to transform the way information is collected and shared, with a view to increasing resilience of our primary sector producers. This is an exciting position here at MPI to support the team in delivering a suite of nationally-significant statistical releases, and offers the opportunity to really make an impact while carving out your own space.
