Reporting to the Manager, Academic Quality the Survey Coordinator is part of the Academic Quality team within the Academic Innovation and Research Division.  The Academic Quality Team’s focus involves ensuring evaluative practice and assuring academic quality outcomes through systems and processes to support continuous improvement in teaching and research, data use and interpretation, and strategy setting.


The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced, well organised, problem solving survey coordinator to join our team.  You will be technically savvy by being an advanced user of Excel as well as having advanced keyboard and computer skills.  Using your exceptional skills you will support the Academic Quality team to deliver academic quality components to improve teaching and learning and the student experience.  Along with this you will support departments in administering, coordination and analyzing survey and programme data.  Continuous improvement is part of your ethos and you embed this process into your daily practices.



  • Data analysis of surveys – creating formal surveys using Qualtrics software
  • Undertake/oversee data collation and analysis for all Programme Evaluation reports across Ara
  • Produce raw data reports on completed surveys to be distributed to relevant departments



  • Relevant tertiary level qualification or recent equivalent experience
  • Ability to design and create surveys
  • Strong literacy and analytical skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
  • Tertiary sector experience would be advantageous
