The role | Mō te tūnga

The role as a Survey Interviewer has two key components.  Firstly, it involves visiting selected households to conduct face-to-face interviews.  The second requires calling selected businesses and/or households to conduct interviews and provide precontact support.  We will set you up to work from home, and provide you with the equipment, training on-going support you need to succeed.  

We guarantee a minimum of 35 hours work per fortnight, but from time to time, there is more work available if you agree to it. This is a role in which hours will vary, and it includes evening as well as weekend work when required.

  • Good communication and active listening skills
  • Willing to cold call businesses and households
  • Friendly and enjoy interacting with a diverse range of people
  • Organised and able to plan your time well
  • Reliable and flexible with working hours
  • Approachable and calm under pressure
  • Confident with a computer and have access to a home internet connection
  • Own a reliable vehicle and a current clean New Zealand driver’s license
  • Market research or door-to-door sales experience will be an advantage
