The role can be based on any of our campuses; Auckland, Wellington or Manawatū.

We are seeking a Systems Engineer – Voice who has experience working with complex, multi-site networks and voice configuration. As the point of escalation for technical matters, you will be extremely confident working with a range of Voice and Unified Communication technologies, Video Conferencing, PABX configurations, Session Boarder Controllers, QoS, and multi-site contact centre configuration.

You will also be a strong communicator and inclusive team member who values sharing of knowledge and helping staff develop. Your technical background and experience will enable you to help improve the way we develop and deliver strategic services to Massey.

Not only will you contribute to the smooth operation of the University, but you will also have the opportunity to influence significant change. This year is an exciting time to join our Smart Collaboration team as we have several projects working with vendors on virtualization, hardware selection and design.

Your average day could see you:

  • Planning and designing services for the largest vet teaching hospital in the country
  • Improving community and student experiences when engaging with the contact centres
  • Enhancing and Supporting the Library, Rec Centre and the colleges in conducting their day to day activity
