The Teaching and Learning Group at The RNZPC is looking for a motivated candidate interested in a role as a Teaching and Learning Advisor. Our purpose is to enable New Zealand Police to deliver Our Business through training, development and leading change.

 

We are looking for someone who can work with our team to achieve this through our training design and development programmes. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of dynamic and energetic leaders who are motivated to help equip and enable our staff. Our team has a large amount of experience in education, policing and the use of technology to enable learning.

 

 

As a Teaching and Learning Advisor working within this group you may be involved in the following exciting projects:

  • Development of assets for the Continuous Education Program, including video, podcasts, animations, interactive exercises, and training content.
  • Development of online content and communities of learning using gig tech to facilitate learning across the country.
  • Leading the use of digital first solutions for training our people.
  • Development of Virtual reality training simulator products

 

 

This opportunity may allow you to build your skills, knowledge and experience in:

  • Training development and design
  • Agile development
  • Multimedia creation
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • The use of technology to enable learning
  • Adult learning

 

It will also provide you with current knowledge of the strategic direction of New Zealand Police, particularly relating to our training and capability.
