About the role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Team Administrator to join our Crown Secretariat for Abuse in Care Inquiry group. As a vital member of our team you will provide a mix of personal assistance and administrative support to the managers and teams on a range of functions. The key focus of these role is to ensure that the processes that support the teams are highly efficient, effective and organised to aid the teams in their work.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including diary management, travel arrangements, project co-ordination and venue bookings. You will be solutions focused and able to quickly solve problems while always striving for continuous improvements in the way we do things. The scope of the role will require you to have a “no job is too big or too small” approach to the way you operate.

The Government has established the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions (the Inquiry). The cross -government Crown Secretariat is hosted by Oranga Tamariki and leads the Crown’s response to, and engagement with, the Royal Commission.
