About the team

The Community Housing Regulatory Authority (CHRA) is a specialist team that works within HUD’s System Performance Group, registering and regulating Community Housing Providers (CHPs). CHRA is a passionate team, dedicated to ensuring it has organisations of enduring substance on its Public Register capable of housing social housing tenants for the duration of their need.

About the role

With no two days the same you will have the opportunity to work on a range of administrative functions for this busy CHRA team. In this role you will be responsible for providing a variety of support including administration of the registration and compliance databases, arranging travel for the team, processing invoices and coding in the finance system as well as other ad-hoc tasks.

About you

You will be an experienced team administrator who is comfortable multitasking through a busy workload. You will quickly be able to prioritise important tasks and escalate where necessary. Your excellent communication skills will see you easily build strong working relationships across the organisation.   

Your background will include:

  • Ability to pre-empt the groups needs and identify priorities and risks
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders at one time
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically proven experience formatting documents and reports
  • High integrity and proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Familiar with booking travel and events as required
  • Experience managing invoices
  • Confidence in working across ambiguous and changing environments.
