EA / Team Admin Strategic Issues & Investment team. 

•    Flexible, part time hours

The opportunity

We have a rare opportunity for a part time EA / Team Administrator to provide support to two co-directors and the wider Strategic Issues & Investment team. 

It’s a busy team that works on issues of current and future significance to MSD, typically with a medium-to-long term perspective and with a strong focus on finding ways to improve the Ministry’s performance.

 

An overview of your responsivities includes: 

  • Arrange events and seminars for the team 
  • Support the complete commissioning cycle of contracts and purchasing 
  • Arrange meetings, write up agenda, collate and circulate papers
  • Arrange travel and accommodation
  • Manage HR processes including, invoices, equipment and on-boarding / off-boarding of staff.
  • Help manage Co-Directors diaries and inboxes
  • Support for project co-ordination
  • Support SI&I’s business and corporate reporting

 

What you will bring: 

We are looking for someone who is proactive and can pre-empt the co-directors and team’s needs. You will be someone who thrives on providing a high level of support and be the “go to” person in the team. 

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Previous experience as a Team Administrator or EA supporting a busy team
  • Have outstanding coordination skills and can handle completing demands 
  • Are proactive and can pre-empt the teams needs
  • Have excellent communication skills and can build trusting relationships 
  • Is comfortable dealing with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally 
  • Experienced in establishing effective and efficient administration processes
