Property Rights Team Coordinator – Fixed Term 6 months (Wellington or Christchurch)

If your answer is yes, you might be just who we are looking for to join as one of our Team Coordinators in the Property Rights Group at Land Information New Zealand (LINZ).

Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) makes sure New Zealand has accurate information about where people and places are, that people have confidence in their property rights and Crown property is well managed.

Land, sea and waterways are taonga that connect us all. Our expertise and information help develop and protect these environments for the benefit of all New Zealanders, our visitors and future generations.

The Property Rights business group is responsible for the New Zealand survey and title system. This system means New Zealanders know exactly what property they own. Our business group, and wider Coordination team are based across three sites in New Zealand.

To support the work our team are doing, we have a 6-month fixed term opportunity available for a Team Coordinator to join us.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in providing comprehensive and efficient administration and coordination support. You will be assisting our leaders with diary management and admin support, completing corporate processes, and coordination for key programmes and projects, including meeting prep and minute taking. 

To succeed in this role, you will have a proactive, customer focused approach to your work. You will be someone who has demonstrated experience and capability when it comes to forward planning and anticipating your Manager’s needs, prioritising work, and taking the initiative to assist in prepping for regular meetings.

Our team offers a diverse environment with a mixture of personalities and specialisations. We would like our Coordinator to be a person who is happy to integrate and engage with the wider team and develop an understanding of the work we do.

As part of your role, you will have an opportunity to join our LINZ Administration Network so will be able to develop a broad network right across the wider LINZ business. 

The right person for this role will have:

  • Proven successful experience in administration or coordination roles delivering high quality, proactive service to teams and customers.
  • The ability to work harmoniously with a wide range of personalities and build productive networks outside of your direct team.
  • The flexibility required to support leaders and work with team members based in different sites.
  • The ability to learn, use and adapt to new computer technologies and systems, along with experience in the full suite of Microsoft products particularly with Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to quickly get up to speed with technical language relating to LINZ services.

The salary band for this role is from $49,662 to $67,190.
