He angitūtanga: About the Role
We’re looking for someone with deep experience of internal comms channels to lead a small and friendly team of digital advisors. The role will drive best practice and lead improvements to our intranet and other digital channels including enewsletters. You will need to work with our Internal Comms Advisors to devise and execute digital storytelling and engagement campaigns that use our channels in an effective, co-ordinated and engaging way.
The Team Leader will also work closely with our technology teams, change managers and external partners to maintain our current intranet and innovate so that we can continuously improve the way we tell our stories and share our news. They will also play an important role in influencing the look and feel of our next intranet platform.
This role reports to the Internal Communications Manager, based in Conservation House, Wellington. A secondment from another government agency could be considered for the one-year fixed term role.
The salary range for this position is $80,191 – $108,493. This role has 2 direct reports.
