  • Summary:

Our work is secret, but the reason for our success isn’t.  It’s our people.

We’re ordinary people just like you. But together, we’re doing extraordinary things to protect New Zealand and New Zealanders.

While we’re ordinary people, we’re not all the same. We welcome diversity, in all its forms, in fact we consider it a strength.

Join us and become part of a Community where your skills, experiences and ideas are valued and you’re encouraged to be curious, to share your ideas and of course, have fun along the way.

If you’re up for the challenge, become Beyond Ordinary with us.

Whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors, raise a family or take advantage of the high sunshine hours at the centre of New Zealand’s wine industry, Marlborough is a great choice for you and your whanau.

In this role you will lead and mentor a team of specialist engineers. You will bring your passion for computing technology with Linux and Windows system admin skills and enthusiasm for solving complex problems in a customer centric organisation.

You will have previous experience managing complex service and lifecycle maintenance needs in a highly secure environment, along with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels within the organisation.

You will be able to tick some, or even all, of the following

  • Network administration.
  • Automation and scripting.
  • System administration (Linux / Windows).
  • IT Security (The why’s and how’s).
  • Robust understanding of archiving and backup requirements.
  • Virtualisation and Storage Area Network technologies.
  • Complex multi-server processing systems (design, deploy, support).
  • Project management with a strong operational focus.
  • Interoperability (even if you have to DIY from time to time).

This is a job where the opportunities to be involved in and learn about a wide range of technologies is extraordinary.  We’re not looking for the exact right skill set so much as the right person.

We want our people to succeed, whatever success looks like for them. Join us and we’ll give you professional development opportunities aimed at taking your career in the direction you want it to go. You won’t stand still with us as we’re committed to ongoing learning and continuous improvement.

We’re also committed to your wellbeing. We want our people to be the best they can be, both at work and at home. We offer our people comprehensive benefits, access to staff networking groups, flexible working and great work-life balance.

If you want to love coming to work each day, let us help you become Beyond Ordinary.
