The Team Leader within the Visitor Centre is responsible for managing and developing the Visitor Centre and the delivery of its frontline services. You will be a part of this fast-paced and ever-changing environment ensuring all customers including visitors, Members of Parliament and Parliamentary staff receive a consistent, high quality visitor experience during their time at Parliament.

As a strong, dependable and adaptable leader, you will lead and coach your team to ensure the smooth and successful running of the Visitor Centres as well building and maintaining relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Leading the tours team to provide consistently high-quality tours and visitor services 7 days per week
  • Managing resources to ensure peak and non-peak periods are well resourced
  • Ensuring tour content is accurate and tailored for the diverse groups visiting Parliament
  • The continual improvement of the visitor experience
  • Motivating and developing a world-best team of Visitor Centre staff
  • Reporting and data management
