Team Manager Contracts

  • Provide leadership and team management for contract and procurement services within the Service and contract management team
  • Permanent role

As the Team Manager Contracts you will provide day to day leadership, ensuring processes are developed and implemented that meet the needs of the Ministry and our partners.

Your knowledge of the social sector will be an advantage supporting the effective delivery of MSD’s contract services and the implementation of improvement initiatives.

This role requires exceptional relationship management skills where you will lead the establishment and on-going management of contracts with suppliers and key stakeholders to promote the interests and objectives of the ministry.


To be successful in the role, you will possess:

  • Social sector contracting / procurement experience in a government department
  • Previous experience managing internal and external relationships
  • Excellent communication skills to reach varied audience levels
  • Strength in leading others through change and ambiguity
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills
