The Joint Border Analytics team uses big data tools and techniques to support intelligence development, protecting New Zealand’s border from bugs, drugs and thugs.
Data science is an emerging field and features in to embed elements of analytics across the organisation to increase border protection. Joint Border Analytics is MBIE, MPI and Customs working together to protect the border through the development of predictive modelling.
As one of three Team Managers, you will lead cross-agency staff to deliver these outputs and work across the agencies to build customer relationships and partnerships, promote data science and represent JBA at national and international forums.

Salary range for this role is $108,000 to $127,000 depending on skills and experience
