To assist us in continually evolving our Technical Support function and providing timely, comprehensive end-user support we have a position available for a Team Manager Technical Support.


Capitalising on the insight you have into the technical support requirements of a fast-paced, regulatory environment, you’ll support new office productivity software to ensure our end users are benefiting from the enhancements we are making, that these enhancements are packaged for automated deployment and we’re building in an appropriate level of security.


With your well received and clear communication styles, you’ll have no trouble aligning your staff members behind your over-arching vision for the Technical Support team and delivering technical end-user training that focuses on high-value areas that benefit LINZ Staff. You’ll be experienced in managing the performance of a team and confident to coach and develop your team members to continually upskill.


In addition to the above capabilities, we’d like to hear from candidates with the below:

  • Previous experience as a team leader, holding technical support type roles and/ or senior ITIL specialist
  • Proven track record of experience in relatively complex IT environments and government agencies
  • Broad understanding of ICT technologies and in particular the user experience with IT tools.
  • Ability to influence and drive performance of both internal teams and external suppliers
