We are excited to be partnering with Volpara Solutions to assist in the recruitment of multiple key roles in their fast-growing company. We are looking for a Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of high quality product increments, within achievable time frames that meet medical regulatory compliance.
Volpara’s Mission Statement is to reduce the mortality and cost of breast cancer by providing clinically-validated software that underpins personalized, high-quality breast cancer screening. Ultimately, while living the Volpara values – be BOLD, be RELENTLESS, be EXTRAORDINARY and above all else, be WHÂNAU – this role will help save families from cancer.
Key product duties involve coordinating multiple projects for release into a production environment and monitoring quality issues once in production. You must be collaborative, well organised and able to lead multiple software teams in an agile environment, where products are built from shared components, using continuous delivery concepts.
The position is technical in nature and requires a strong blend of Agile, Project Management, business analysis and software development experience and the ability to work well in a team environment, as well as skills to facilitate communication, team focus, influence, service oriented, problem solving, analytic thinking, planning, personal development and decisiveness.
You must be able to adapt your communication to meet the needs of the team and support and motivate the team to achieve their goals. You must also be protective the team from outside interference and poorly formulated or prioritised requirements, so they can focus on delivering customer value.
Using these attributes, the candidate will communicate project and product expectations to both internal and external teams, develop project plans and schedules, provide work direction and leadership to assigned projects and at times, individual project members; including scheduling, assignment of work and review of project efforts.
You will most likely have a software development background (or a good understanding of software development) and be able to work closely with software developers to understand the dynamics of distributed systems and the trade-offs that need to be made for implementing and testing such systems. An added bonus would be experience of working for a medical device company, and the associated regulatory environment.
