What you will do
You’ll be part of a team that are responsible for the planning, initiating, ongoing management of the repair parts catalogues for New Zealand Defence Force operational equipment, and providing quality assurance for codification and technical data.
What we need
A technical-minded person with excellent attention to detail, an ability to interpret technical drawings and/or electrical circuit/wiring diagrams, and have an understanding of supply chain management.
You’ll have strong analytical and research skills in relation to technical products, and a good understanding of risk management. Your experience with information management tools, development of technical information, database management and illustration application such as CorelDraw (or similar) will be beneficial to your application, as will prior maintenance or repair, and trade/technical experience.
Who we are
The NZDF Equipment Management Organisation (DEMO) provides a single point of accountability for the through-life management of specified equipment across the Land, Air and Maritime environments thereby ensuring that all equipment receives consistent strategic logistic support whilst in service in NZDF.
This organisation is accountable for the day to day delivery of through life Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and management of equipment enabling NZDF to meet its business and operational objectives to the appropriate standards.
