  • In Vitro Technologies is a medical, clinical diagnostic and scientific distribution organisation specialising in the sales, marketing and support of products throughout New Zealand and Australia. Our clients include Hospitals, Day Surgeries, Dental Practices, Scientific research & Pathology Laboratories, in various industries & Universities

    We are currently seeking a motivated, responsible and passionate  Technical Service Engineer  to support our Medical and Scientific Team based at our Mt Wellington office.

    Primary responsibilities includes:

  • Attending daily Breakdown (Field & In-House) Repairs
  • Perform routine Preventative Maintenance Servicing
  • Capital equipment Installation, Commissioning & Validation
  • Administration duties and spare parts management
  • Customer assistance
  • The successful applicant will be well presented, self-motivated and demonstrate a commitment to technical excellence and customer service. Future advancement is available to suitable applicants. Overnight travel and overtime are sometimes required in this role. Ongoing training and development will be provided.

    Qualifications and Experience to include :

  • Electrical service technician qualification required with experience in 3 phase machinery
  • Worked with Endoscopy Reprocessing and or Sterilisation Equipment in Hospitals
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Provide evidence of applying specialised technical knowledge to problem solve/ troubleshoot difficult or complex situations.
  • Worked in a service-based environment with customer focus.
  • Current NZ drivers Licence
  • Be able to attain a police check
  • Desirable Qualifications and Experience to include, although NOT limited to:

  • Experience in Hospital CSSD equipment – Instrument washers, sterilisers and Endoscope reprocesses.
  • Field servicing experience
  • Varied Electronics/mechanical equipment servicing experience
  • Sound IT knowledge/experience and capable in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Autoclave exposure
  • Validation experience
  • Attractive salary packaging including car allowance will be offered according to qualifications and experience.
